HUNTINGBURG — One vehicle was a total loss after a passenger-car-versus-pickup-truck collision Monday afternoon on Huntingburg’s north side.
Caden Harmon, Huntingburg, was southbound on Main Street in a 2003 Ford Ranger when the 5:19 p.m. accident occurred at 19th Street, according to the Huntingburg Police Department.
Police said Harmon attempted to turn eastbound onto 19th Street, and when he did, the rear of his truck was struck by a southbound 2006 Pontiac G6 driven by Alan Baumeister and owned by The Herald.
No injuries were reported, but the Pontiac was thought to have been totaled and was towed for disabling damage.
Damage to the Ranger was estimated to have exceeded $5,000.
A Bob Luegers Motors wrecker and a Dubois County Sheriff’s Office deputy assisted.
