Car-vs-trailer driver accused of OWI

JASPER — Police called Saturday night to the report of a property damage accident at the Maple Grove Village mobile home park made an arrest for alleged impaired driving.

The Jasper Police Department was called to the scene of the car-versus-mobile home mishap at 3828 N. Portersville Road at 9:30 p.m.

Police say the driver of the 2005 Toyota Echo involved in the accident, Dani E. Montufar Martinez, 29, of the Portersville Road address, had a blood alcohol content that tested .19 percent at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center.

Authorities booked Montufar Martinez into the Dubois County Security Center at 11:59 p.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of operating while intoxicated.
