Car-vs-deer collision damages Cruze

JASPER — A Martin County motorist’s car sustained damage when it collided with a deer Tuesday morning north of Jasper.
Connie Hart, Loogootee, was southbound on U.S. 231 in a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze when the 6:40 a.m. accident occurred near County Road 500N.
A deputy said Hart’s Cruze collided with a deer that ran onto the highway from the east. Damage to the car’s driver-side front was estimated between $1,000 and $2,500.
