Car-vs-deer collision damages Chrysler

JASPER — A Jasper man’s car sustained damage when it collided with a deer Monday morning just east of Jasper.
Calvin W. Sanchez, 19, Jasper, was westbound on State Road 164 in a 2006 Chrysler 300 when the 6 a.m. accident occurred 500 feet east of Greener Road, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said Sanchez’s car collided with a deer that came onto the highway from the north.
