JASPER — A wrecker was needed after a passenger car collided with a deer Thursday evening northwest of Jasper.
Michael J. Denk, 70, Jasper, was northbound on Portersville Road in a 2006 Toyota Camry when the 7:15 p.m. accident occurred by County Road 500N, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said the front driver’s side of the Denk Toyota collided with a deer that entered onto the roadway from the east.
Damage was estimated to have exceeded $2,500.
