CRYSTAL — No injuries were reported when a passenger car ran off the road and struck an embankment Wednesday east of Crystal.
Luke Lockard, 17, Celestine, was westbound on State Road 56 in a 2003 Infiniti G35 when the 12:14 p.m. mishap occurred 900 feet east of Dubois Road Northeast, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said Lockard’s car ran off the roadway as he rounded a curve, with the Infiniti striking an embankment off the north side of the highway.
Damage was estimated $1,500.
