HAYSVILLE — A Martin County woman summoned a wrecker after her automobile collided with a deer late Tuesday night at Haysville.
Sharon T. Coppinger, 64, Loogotee, was southbound on U.S. 231 in a 2004 Cadillac DeVille when the 11:47 p.m. accident occurred on the north side of Haysville, 100 feet north of Charles Street, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department.
A deputy said the Coppinger Cadillac struck one of three deer that came onto the roadway from the we st.
Damage was estimated at between $5,000 and $10,000.
A Uebelhor & Sons wrecker assisted at the scene.
