PORTERSVILLE — A Portersville-area woman escaped with minor scrapes after her car failed to negotiate a curve in the road west of Portersville on Saturday morning.
Kylee G. Cleek, 23, was eastbound on County Road 500N in a 2014 Ford Focus when the 7:27 a.m. accident occurred east of County Road 700W, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy reported Cleek failed to notice a curve just past a bridge. Her car ran into a ditch and its air bags deployed.
Cleek did not require medical treatment for minor scrapes, according to the sheriff’s office.
Damage was estimated to have exceeded $5,000.
A Ruxer Ford wrecker assisted.
