SCHNELLVILLE — No injuries were reported in a Friday evening mishap along a county road southwest of Schnellville.
Levi J. Allinger, 19, Leavenworth, was northbound on County Road 700E in a 2008 Ford Focus when the 6:01 p.m. accident occurred 500 feet north of County Road 400S, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department.
Allinger told a deputy he lost control of the car while traveling uphill in the curve at the location.
The Focus stopped off the east side of the roadway in a ditch.
A Bob Luegers Motors wrecker towed the car because of disabling damage.
Damage was estimated between $1,000 and $2,500.
