Candace Henslee and Alex Luebbehusen exchanged wedding vows at 3:30 p.m. June 3, 2017, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Jasper. Father Crispine Adongo officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Doug Henslee of Denton, Texas, and the late Laura Henslee. The groom is the son of Chris and Angie Luebbehusen of St. Anthony.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a Mikaella by Paloma Blanca wedding dress with an A-line lace skirt, organza overlay and cathedral train. The dress featured a sleeveless bodice with a sweetheart neckline, Illusion lace off the shoulder and a deep, low back. The dress also had a removable ribbon at the waist, covered buttons and loops over the zipper.
Music for the ceremony was provided by vocalist Leslie Luebbehusen.
The bride chose Lacey Henslee of Denton, Texas, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Abby Rogier of Ferdinand, Cassie Oldenkamp of Argyle, Texas, Karisa Garner of Waco, Texas, and Mycah Kellogg of Chicago.
The bridesmaids wore chiffon, floor-length dresses in gold from Azazie in a variety of styles.
Mr. Luebbehusen chose Brandon Luebbehusen of St. Anthony as best man. Groomsmen were Connor Luebbehusen of St. Anthony, Marc Rogier of Ferdinand, Dustin Henslee and Austin Kelsoe, both of Denton, Texas, and Ethan Welch of Evansville.
A reception was held at KlubHaus61 in Jasper.
The couple took a wedding trip to Hawaii and is living in Whitestown.
The bride is a 2011 graduate of John H. Guyer High School in Denton, Texas, 2015 graduate of Texas Women’s University in Denton, and 2017 graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington. She is the student activities coordinator at Marian University in Indianapolis.
Mr. Luebbehusen is a 2011 graduate of Forest Park Junior-Senior High School and 2015 graduate of the University of Evansville. He is a software engineer at LifeOmic.
