Brittany Benningfield and Logan SollmanJuly 12, 2019
Brittany Nicole Benningfield and Logan Scott Sollman exchanged wedding vows at 2:30 p.m. on May 18, 2019, in Shiloh United Methodist Church, Jasper. Pastor Dan Sinkhorn officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of John and Julie Benningfield of Santa Claus. The groom is the son of Scott and Sherry Sollman of Huntingburg.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a sparkling silver, lace wedding dress from Stella York. The modern modified A-line silhouette featured metallic lace that flowed down from the Diamante covered bodice onto a light-as-air tulle skirt. The sweetheart neckline and illusion lace straps created an organic-edge neck. Sparkling crystal bead work and a tulle skirt brought drama and dimension to the dress.
Music for the ceremony was provided by violinist Marissa Emmert and pianist Kathy Tenbarge.
The bride chose Megan Benningfield of Santa Cluas as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Bailey Pierson and Haley Pierson, both of Santa Claus, Mckensie Barrett of Evansville, Kelsey Erny and Breanne Rainey, both of Holland, Jordan Ferguson of Jasper and Sidney Heldt of Princeton.
The bridesmaids wore A-line chiffon, spaghetti-strap halter gowns in slate blue. The bodices included ruching and gathered softly around the waist, while the open back had a beautiful diamond cut out.
The mother of the bride wore an elegant, chiffon, floor-length dress in grey. The gown had ruching around the bodice and waist, while the top had short sleeves along with beautiful, intricate silver beading. The mother of the groom wore an A-line, floor-length dress in navy. The gown had elegant, silver beading details on the V-neck sheer, illusion overlay.
Mr. Sollman chose Chad O’Bryan of Huntingburg as best man. Groomsmen were Matt and Shawn Benningfield of Santa Claus, Tyler Ferguson of French Lick, Jon Erny and Tyler Rainey, both of Holland, T.J. Ferguson of Jasper and Corey Kreilein of St. Anthony.
A reception was held at Venue 1408, Huntingburg. Music was provided by Ty Hunter and Brian Schwenk of Boogie Tunes Entertainment.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Antigua and is living in Jasper.
The bride is a 2014 graduate of Heritage Hills High School, Lincoln City, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene in 2018 from the University of Southern Indiana, Evansville. She is a licensed dental hygienist at Wagner Family Dental in Jasper.
The groom is a 2014 graduate of Southridge High School, Huntingburg, and received an associate’s degree in conservation law enforcement in 2016 from Vincennes University. He is the purchasing manager at Ridetech in Jasper.
