Marvin Troesch of St. Meinrad swept sand over newly placed memorial bricks Monday at the St. Meinrad Community Center in preparation for the St. Meinrad Rocks Festival. The festival, which runs Aug. 22 and 23, will feature over 20 bands. Money raised from the memorial bricks will go to the preservation of historical items and beginning a museum for North Spencer County.
