Brandon Chester Gogel, 44, Blairsville
July 21, 2020Brandon Chester Gogel, son of Rick (Devona) Gogel of Dale and Jenny (Hank) King of Bretzville, passed away peacefully in his home in Blairsville on July 13, 2020, after a year-long battle with colon cancer. He was born on June 25, 1976.

He is survived by his wife, DeeAnn Gogel; three step-children; four grandchildren; his parents and stepparents; siblings, Trisha Gogel, Tiffany (Jed) Lashley, Josh (Nicky) Gogel, Nicholas (Brianna) Gogel, Jolene (Brandon) Casteel, Katelyn (Cody) Clements, Jessica (Jake) Watson, Dylan Gogel, Devon Gogel, Samantha (Nick) Theising and Jordan (Patience) King; and 19 nieces and nephews.
Brandon was a loving husband, stepfather, grandfather, brother and loving uncle. He had touched so many lives with his unconditional love, kindness and generosity. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his family. Brandon enjoyed being outdoors playing golf, grilling, hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by grandparents, Robert and Wanda Harris, Chester and Marcella Gogel, and aunt Alice Kemper and uncle Gary Egbert.
A celebration of life will be held at Mariah Hill Conservation Club on Friday July 24, 2020 from 2 to 7 p.m. CST.
