JASPER — BR Associates, Inc., a franchise leader in the restaurant industry, announced today the company will begin operating under a new name, SERVUS!, effective immediately.
“SERVUS! is more than just a name change, it’s our brand promise,” said company president and CEO Jason Kelly. “While giving a nod to our German heritage, it’s also a lasting commitment to our hospitality roots and provides the security and peace of mind to all of our team members that we are committed to the next 50 years.”
In German, servus is a word that can be used to say hello or goodbye.
The company today unveiled the new identity and branding campaign, along with a new website, www.greatservus.com. Ownership and staff will not change.
Robert and Lovella Ruckriegel founded the company in 1964 and will be celebrating the company’s 50th anniversary next month.
SERVUS! owns and operates more than 180 restaurants across the Midwest in five nationally-recognized food-service concepts: Long John Silver’s, Denny’s, Wendy’s, Papa John’s and Grandy’s.
In addition, SERVUS! operates the Jasper 8 Theatres and manages a portfolio of commercial real estate throughout its geographical footprint.
