SHERIDAN — A body found in an icy Indiana pond has been identified as a 25-year-old man who was last seen in November.
Authorities in Hamilton County say John Waters was wearing shorts and a hooded shirt and was likely in the pond for an “extended period.” His body was found Thursday in a pond near Sheridan, 40 miles north of Indianapolis. There was no sign of foul play.
Detectives say a man matching Waters’ description was reported near Sheridan schools on Nov. 7.
Results from toxicology tests aren’t complete. Anyone with information can call (317) 773-1282.
