JASPER — Orthopedic surgeon and spine specialist Dr. Brian Blessinger, M.D., has been appointed to the medical staff at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center.
Blessinger can treat conditions including scoliosis, herniated disk, spinal stenosis, spinal tumors, spinal cord injuries and other spinal deformities. He will offer nonoperative and minimally invasive options in addition to traditional surgeries for these conditions.
A native of Dubois County, Blessinger received his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his residency at University of Toledo Medical Center in Ohio. Most recently, he completed an orthopedic spine fellowship at Ortho Carolina in Charlotte, N.C. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Blessinger lives in Huntingburg with his wife and two children.
