Blessinger earns Eagle Scout

Boy Scouting’s highest rank, that of Eagle Scout, was presented to Aidan Blessinger at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor on Oct. 13 at the Huntingburg Country Club. Participating in the ceremony were Elijah and Xavier Horton, Evan and Paul Steinmetz, Dick Lange, Scout Master Chris Welp and Paul Messmer of Troop 186.

Blessinger started his scouting career in the first grade as a Cub Scout. Through the years, he served as patrol leader, quartermaster and assistant senior patrol leader.

For his Eagle Scout project he renovated the home and visitor bleachers at the Huntingburg Little League Field.

Blessinger is a junior at Southridge High School where he is a member of the golf team, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honors Society, Business Professionals of America and St. Mary’s Youth Group.

He is the son of Brian and Ashley Blessinger of Huntingburg.
