BIRDSEYE — Gary C. Cunningham, 22, of 3340 S. Harts Gravel Road, was taken into custody Tuesday by Indiana State Police on an active Dubois County warrant charging him with a Class D felony count of residential entry.
The warrant was issued this week in the wake of a Dubois County Sheriff’s Department investigation into a May 26 burglary in the 100 block of State Road 145.
Police said items believed to have been stolen in the May incident have not been located but investigators developed enough probable cause to issue the residential entry warrant. The investigation is still ongoing, authorities added.
Cunningham was booked into the Dubois County Security Center at 8:25 p.m.
Anyone with information on the May burglary is asked to call the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department at 482-3522. Callers may remain anonymous.
