Northwood residents Mary Ann Schnaus, left, and Lucille Garland watch as Cub Scout Pack 182 members Ethan Underwood, 9, and Devin Blaize, 8, install a birdhouse with the help of Chris Waltz, center, and Clint Wininger, all of Jasper, at the retirement community in Jasper on Wednesday. "For the boys, it's really important that they understand that it's not just about them," said Cub Scout Pack 182 Den Leader Evie Underwood of Jasper. Underwood added that it is important for the boys to interact and learn from the elderly while offering a helping hand.
