Billie Joe Cummins Jr., 55, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018, at Seton Medical Center in Harker Heights, Texas, with his fiancée, Aimee Graham, at his side.
He was born on May 27, 1963.
Billie was a member of the United Methodist Church in Lynnville. He worked at Indiana Hardwood for several years before going to work at Styline in Huntingburg.
Billie was a giver and a helper of anybody who was in need. He enjoyed going to his Uncle Walter’s river camp and helping him before he passed away. Billie moved to Texas to help take care of his father who passed away this January.
Billie was preceded in death by his father, Billie Cummins Sr.; and sister, Dominesa Rigdon.
Billie is survived by his children, Jonathan Cummins of Huntingburg, Allen Cummins of Chrisney and NiKeeta May King (Jonathan) of Huntingburg; his mother, Linda Thomas; sisters, Tina Tooley (Bill) and LaTosha Jones (Marty); brothers, Donovan Cummins (Ruthie) and Nikia Cummins (Sarah); stepbrother, Shawn Bufford (Twila); stepsisters, Melissa Cameron (Danny), Tamara Breda (Ron) and Crystal (Sam); stepbrother, Shawn Cummins; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Billie will be held at Lynnville United Methodist Church at a later date.
