Beverly Ann Howell, 72, of French Lick, formerly of Shoals, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 2, 2020, at Springs Valley Meadows in French Lick.
She was born in Springfield, Illinois, on January 1, 1948, to Barnett and Lora Evelyn (Wingfield) Gregory.
Beverly married John Howell on August 27, 1966, and he survives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one foster son, Kirk Sanders; one brother, Robert Rowland; and one sister, Martha Gregory.
Beverly was a graduate of Loogootee High School, a member of The Church of the Cross in Shoals, the Hanson Mcfee American Legion Post 61 Women’s Auxiliary in Shoals and the Shoals VFW Post 8589 Women’s Auxiliary.
Beverly is survived by her husband, John Howell, French Lick, formerly of Shoals; one daughter, Michelle Galloway (Brooks), French Lick; three sisters, Patsy Andersen, French Lick, Marilyn Stanford (Bill), New Mexico and Kathleen Kirkland (Ron), Kansas; two grandchildren, Ryan Burkhardt and Morgan Burkhardt; and two great-grandchildren, Sawyer and Sidney Smoot.
Cremation was chosen and a private service will be held at a later date at the Spring Hill Cemetery in Shoals.
Arrangements are in the care of Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Service in French Lick.
