Bennett Perez, Sr., 55, of Huntingburg, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.
He was born July 25, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois, to Enrique and Irene Perez who preceded him in death. He married Rebecca Rainey on March 9, 2006.
Bennett was a restaurant cook and Circle A Convenience Store clerk.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca “Becky” Perez of Huntingburg; three children, Bennett Perez Jr. of Puerto Rico, Brian Perez of Terre Haute and Daniel Perez of Honolulu, Hawaii; two stepchildren, Julie Healy of Washington and William Rainey of Ferdinand; two siblings, Mariam Mercado of Florida and Rick Perez of New Mexico; and 11 grandchildren.
Graveside committal services and burial will be held at 12 noon EDT on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at the New Liberty Coe Cemetery in Coe, Indiana. Friends may visit one hour prior to the committal service at the graveside. Pastor Bob Borden will officiate at the service.
Arrangements have been entrusted with the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg.
