Alex Fuhs of Jasper practiced during a beginner guitar class at the Jasper Arts Center on Thursday evening. Fuhs signed up for the class to learn how to play after his grandmother gave him her guitar. The class, instructed by Rafaela Schaick of Jasper, will meet every Thursday for six weeks to learn basic chords and strumming patterns. “My hope is that I can answer any beginning questions about playing the guitar so that they can feel at ease playing at home with family and friends,” Schaick said.
