Basic life support training available
June 26, 2020JASPER — Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center is offering an instructor-led Basic Life Support training class from 8 a.m. to noon Tuesday, July 14, in the Health and Wellness Classroom at Memorial Southside Office, 1100 West 12th Ave.
This American Heart Association course covers Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for all ages, two-man CPR, bag-valve mask ventilation, relief of responsive and unresponsive Foreign Body Airway Obstruction and use of the Automated External Defibrillator. Participants must successfully complete a written test and skills evaluation to receive a course completion (credential) card.
