FERDINAND — The Friends of the Ferdinand Library will have a basement book sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 11.
Customers may enter the sales from the main floor of the Ferdinand Branch Library or from the north side doors off the Ferdinand Community Center parking lot.
Sales will feature multiple tables of newly donated fiction and nonfiction adult, young adult and children’s books. The sale also includes puzzles and games. Several books about golf have recently been donated.
The Friends also have accumulated a number of first-edition books and books signed by authors. These books will have special pricing.
All hardbook books are $1 and paperbacks are 50 cents. Prices for children’s books, puzzles and special books vary.
All proceeds from sales are used for adult, teen and children’s programming.
Donations of gently used books and puzzles are always welcomed. Mark donations for the Friends. Membership pamphlets are available at the sale and at the library’s front desk.
