INDIANAPOLIS — Police say a baseball bat attack involving family members and acquaintances injured four adults and two young children at an Indianapolis home.
The attack happened Monday night on the city’s north side. Police say the injured children were under 1 year old and three adults who were taken to a hospital were in their early 20s. The Indianapolis Star reports a fourth young adult, identified as a 22-year-old, was treated at the scene.
Police say in a statement that a 2-month old was in critical condition Tuesday and they described the attack as an “isolated incident.” WXIN-TV reports the others were in stable condition.
No one was immediately taken into custody and police say it doesn’t appear that anything was taken from the home. The attack is under investigation.
