Bartels, Crouch to host summit

State Rep. Stephen Bartels, R-Eckerty, and Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch will host a bipartisan summit to discuss community needs on Sept. 24 and 25, at Patoka Lake Winery Event Center, 2900 Dillard Road, Birdseye.
The summit is for elected officials, public safety officers and veterans and service members.
From 4 to 6 p.m. on Sept. 24, Bartels and Crouch will meet with elected county, city and town officials. On Sept. 25, they will meet with local military service members, sheriffs, police officers, firefighters, 911 dispatchers and first responders from Crawford, Dubois, Orange, Perry and Spencer counties.
