Barbara M. Bleemel, 66, Jasper
November 30, 2020Barbara M. Bleemel, age 66, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 29, 2020, in Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.

Barb was born in Jasper, Indiana, on February 27, 1954, to Victor and Monica (Mehringer) Knies. She married Robert J. "Bob" Bleemel on May 7, 1988, in St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana.
She was a 1972 graduate of Jasper High School.
She retired from Old National Bank in Jasper, where she had worked for 40 years.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana and the St. Ann's Society.
Barb was an avid Indiana University, St. Louis Cardinals, and Indianapolis Colts fan, and enjoyed spending time with her dogs.
Surviving are her husband, Robert J. "Bob" Bleemel, Jasper, IN, one sister, Elaine Knies, Greenwood, IN, three brothers, Tom Knies, Jasper, IN, Jerry (Chris) Knies, Jasper, IN, Marty (Judi) Knies, Greenwood, IN, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are one son, Scott Bleemel, and one brother, Greg Knies.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Barbara M. Bleemel will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2020, in Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Ireland, Indiana.
A visitation will be held from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, Indiana, and one hour before services at the church on Thursday from 9:00-10:00 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Dubois County Community Foundation c/o the Barb and Bob Bleemel Jasper Lady Wildcats Softball Endowment and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
