JASPER — Authorities booked a Birdseye-area woman into jail Wednesday evening on a Dubois Superior Court warrant charging her with misdemeanor theft.
The Jasper Police Department investigated the internal theft case against Stacy M. Bennett, 40, 2905 N. Dillard Road, Birdseye.
Bennett is accused of taking approximately $80 in cash from the Schnitz Brewery & Pub on Aug. 16 while an employee at the establishment.
A warrant for her arrest was issued Sept. 27.
Authorities booked Bennett into the Dubois County Security Center at 6:25 p.m. on the active warrant.
