LYNNVILLE — The Warrick County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the victim whose body was found Friday southwest of Lynnville.
Police say the victim in the homicide investigation was Valarie Anne Ruark, 32, Boonville.
Ruark’s remains were found near the intersection of Seven Hills Road and Wasson Road. Her body was badly burned.
Anyone who may have information relating to the investigation is asked to call the Warrick County Sheriff’s Office at 812-897-6180 or 800-223-6374. Individuals can also anonymously call 1-800-WE-TIP to assist detectives.
The sheriff’s office has thanked the public for tips this week that helped lead to the identification.
