ARTventures goes virtual
May 14, 2020JASPER — Jasper Community Arts will offer virtual and in-person summer workshops for grades kindergarten through 12, as well as adults.
Virtual ARTventures will be offered for six weeks this summer. Workshops being offered virtually include Photography; Beginning Portrait Painting; Drawing To Paint; Drawing Hacks; Doodles, Drawing Games And Creative Fun; Sketch Of The Week; Reuse-Recycle-Remake, Power Of Portraits; S.T.E.A.M: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts And Math; and Advanced Drawing Hacks. All virtual workshops will take place via Zoom. In the days leading up to the start of the workshops, participants will be sent an email with a Zoom link to attend each workshop day.
Additional workshops will include Printmaking, Paper Beads and Newspaper Upcycle Bowls. These workshops will be offered in July at the Satellite Arts Space, located in the basement of the Jasper Pool, 1405 Bartley St. In-person workshops will consist of a limited amount of participants in order to ensure social distancing.
Review each workshop for location. In the days leading up to each online class, links will be sent out to each participant via email.
A suggested list of materials and supplies will be given to each participant. Supplies will not be provided for virtual classes.
There will be no workshops June 29 through July 3.
