JASPER — A report late Tuesday night of a man threatening to shoot another person at the Walmart Supercenter brought an arrest.
The Jasper Police Department was dispatched to the 4040 N. Newton St. store at 11:30 p.m.
Officers arrived and detained Collin R. Thomas, 19, Taswell.
Police allege Thomas stole $100 from a subject and threatened to shoot the person.
Thomas was agitated after being detained and became disorderly, yelling obscenities at officers, police said.
Authorities booked Thomas into the Dubois County Security Center at 12:23 a.m. today on preliminary misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct, intimidation and theft.
