JASPER — A Huntingburg man was booked Friday into the Dubois County Security Center on a Dubois Superior Court warrant issued in October after he failed to attend a hearing.

A warrant was issued Oct. 16 after Craig N. Freeman, 33, 7456 W. 450S, Huntingburg, failed to appear at an admission or denial hearing on a petition to revoke his probation in a habitual traffic violator case. Freeman pleaded guilty to the Level 6 felony in January 2018, and the State petitioned to revoke probation in August.

Authorities booked Freeman into the Dubois County Security Center at 10:55 a.m. Friday on the active warrant. During a court appearance Monday, Freeman’s request for pauper counsel was approved and the admission or denial hearing was continued to June 3. The court ordered Freeman be held in the security center pending the hearing.
