JASPER — A report late Friday night of suspicious activity behind a Jasper store led to a drug-related arrest.
The Jasper Police Department was called to activity behind Big Lots, 195 U.S. 231, at 11:26 p.m.
Officers arrived to find Zackary B. Wilson, 38, Elberfeld, who was with his girlfriend’s BMW vehicle. During the investigation, police obtained a search warrant for that vehicle.
A subsequent search allegedly found a marijuana bond, a glass smoking pipe and two hypodermic needles in the vehicle.
Authorities booked Wilson into the Dubois County Security Center at 3:20 a.m. Saturday on preliminary charges of Level 6 felony unlawful possession of a syringe and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. Wilson posted bond a short time later.
