JASPER — Police made an arrest after investigating a Saturday evening report of a shoe theft.
The Jasper Police Department investigated after receiving a 7:45 p.m. report of a man leaving Shoe Sensation, 3637 N. Newton St., with a pair of shoes without paying.
Police located the suspect, Felix F. Munoz, 53, 132 E. 36th St., Jasper, at the Walgreens Pharmacy at 3606 N. Newton St.
Officers who said Munoz admitted to taking the shoes, which he showed them, also allege the suspect is believed to have taken pain relief cream and scar gel from Walgreens and two sweatshirts, a wallet and a hat from the Walmart Supercenter at 4040 N. Newton St.
Authorities booked Munoz into the Dubois County Security Center at 10:34 p.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of theft. He posted bond a short time later.
