HUNTINGBURG — An arrest followed a citizen complaint Thursday night of a possible impaired driver in Huntingburg.
The 9:40 p.m. tip sent a Huntingburg Police Department officer to the vicinity of Sixth and Main streets where he began observing a 2009 Toyota Matrix driven by Rachel E. Atwood, 27, 1402 Jackson St., Jasper.
Police allege Atwood drove left of center with all four tires at Fourth and Chestnut streets.
Authorities allege Atwood’s blood alcohol content later tested .136% after a blood draw at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center.
Atwood was booked into the Dubois County Security Center at 1:53 a.m. today on a preliminary misdemeanor count of operating while intoxicated.
