Arrest follows report of intoxicated driving

JASPER — Police placed a man under arrest Saturday evening after receiving two calls alleging the individual had been driving a pickup truck while intoxicated.

After testing at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center, the Jasper Police Department alleged Kenny W. Kline, 64, 2568 Birk Drive, operated a 2003 Ford F-150 with a blood alcohol content of .121%.

Police had been notified about a possible intoxicated driver at 6:39 p.m.

Authorities booked Kline into the Dubois County Security Center at 10:23 p.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of operating while intoxicated. He was released on his own recognizance at 6:31 a.m. Sunday.
