Arrest follows Holland-area accident

HOLLAND — A Monday night accident south of Holland resulted in the arrest of one of the drivers.
The 9:36 p.m. accident on County Road 1075S near County Road 720W occurred when a Mini Cooper driven by Christopher M. Goldman, 43, 6457 W. 1025S, Holland, went wide in a turn and collided with an oncoming Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy who said Goldman exhibited signs of impairment reported his blood alcohol content tested .16% in a certified test at the Jasper Police Station.
Authorities booked Goldman into the Dubois County Security Center at 1:39 a.m. today on a preliminary misdemeanor count of operating while intoxicated.
