April Kippenbrock and Justin King exchanged wedding vows at 3 p.m. on May 23, 2020, at St. Henry Catholic Church. Father Jeff Read officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Karen Kippenbrock of St. Henry. The groom is the son of Andy and Martha King of Huntingburg.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Jon Vaughn and Stacey Hurst. Readers were Karen Kippenbrock and Martha King, mothers of the bride and groom. Outdoor ceremony attendants were Chris, Kenny, Sarah, Ali and Kate Pund.
The bride chose Audra Kippenbrock, sister of the bride, as maid of honor. Derian Scales, Salina Wilkerson, Karaline Staggs and Bailey Pierson, all friends of the bride, Mikhaila Kippenbrock, sister-in-law of the bride and Natalie King, sister-in-law of the groom and cousin of the bride were bridesmaids. The flower girl was Isabella Smith, godchild of the bride.
Mr. King chose his brother, Jason King, as best man. Adam King, brother of the groom, Anthony Jones, JJ Miller and Klayton Knies, friends of the groom, and Dugan Kippenbrock and Derek Kippenbrock, brothers of the bride, were groomsmen.
Nick Herron and Brayden Harding, friends of the groom were ushers.
An outdoor reception was held in the St. Henry Catholic Church parking lot after the Mass consisting of a prayer by the groom’s grandmother, a toast by the groom and the first dance. Following the outdoor reception, a dinner was held at the home of Andy and Martha King for the wedding party and immediate family. A pool party followed the dinner.
The couple is residing in Huntingburg.
The bride is a 2015 graduate of Heritage Hills High School. She will graduate in December with her elementary education degree from Indiana University Southeast.
Mr. King is a 2015 graduate of Southridge High School. He is employed in the family business at Mor For Less Market.
