Annie Bates and Marcus Beckman exchanged wedding vows at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2019, at Industry in Indianapolis. Pastor Mark Knapp officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Lori Bates of Cicero and the late Mark Bates. The groom is the son of Karen and Mark Beckman of St. Anthony.
The bride, given in marriage by her brother, Matt, wore a beach-style wedding dress with a lace neckline, organza underlay and lace bodice with Stella crystal buttons that extended into an effortless slight train.
Music for the ceremony was provided by the DJ, F.M. Entertainment. Wedding festivities were coordinated and decorated by Megan Adams with Arbor and Bloom Events. Photography was by Kalli June Photography.
The bride chose her friend, Emily Huelster, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were friends Jessica Kunkel, Josie Achenbach, Hannah Webster, Anna Karas and Becca Sheehan, and the groom’s sisters, Natosha Messmer and Maddison Beckman.
The bridesmaids wore different styled Azazie, floor-length dresses in dusty blue.
The groom chose his brother, Samuel Beckman, as his best man. Groomsmen were friends Kyle Schwinghamer, Mitch Lampert, Nathan Bromm, Jon Staff and Veeral Patel; cousin Kurt Lueken; and the bride’s brother, John Mark Bates. Ushers were groom’s brother-in-law, Lance Messmer, and friend, Andrew Englert. Luke Bates, the bride’s nephew, was ring bearer.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Cancun and is living in Noblesville.
The bride is a 2013 graduate of Hamilton Heights High School and a 2017 graduate of Purdue University. She is a third grade teacher at Hamilton Heights Elementary.
The groom is a 2011 graduate of Forest Park High School and a 2015 graduate of Purdue University. He is an industrial engineer at Chrysler Kokomo Transmission Plant.
