JASPER — A new Amish Kountry Lane Bakery opened Thursday on Second Street just east of Newton Street. Business hours for the time being are 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Owners are Alvin “A.J.” and Martha Knepp, who also operate a bakery in Montgomery.
The bakery sells homemade doughnuts, cinnamon rolls, breads and other pastries. Special orders may be placed by calling 486-3425.
