Amateur radio club offers license testingJuly 16, 2020
The Patoka Valley Amateur Radio Club is holding an Amateur Radio License testing session at 9 a.m. ET (8 a.m. CT) Saturday, Aug. 1, at RF Headquarters, 1717 W. 1000 S., Ferdinand.
Attendees are asked to bring two forms of identification with at least one photo ID, calculator (if desired) and No. 2 lead pencil. Also bring a Federal Communications Commission Federal Registration Number (FRN). For license upgrades, bring a current license and a photocopy or any completed Certificate of Successful Completion of Examination.
Testing will be limited to the first seven registrants. Participants are asked to wear a mask.
