Altercation leads to domestic arrest

DUFF — A call early today reporting a verbal altercation that had turned physical resulted in an arrest.
Dubois County Sheriff’s Office deputies investigating the 2:58 a.m. report made contact with a male who had visible injury. After investigating, the sheriff’s office arrested Courtney M. Hochgesang, 26, 6467 W. Duff Second St., Huntingburg.
Authorities booked Hochgesang into the Dubois County Security Center at 4:33 a.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of domestic battery.
