Alleged threats culminate in arrest

JASPER — A Tuesday afternoon report of a man having made threats at a dentist’s office against an employee ended with an arrest.

The Jasper Police Department was called at 2:03 p.m. regarding the patient who had become agitated after his insurance was declined. One threat allegedly involved the mention of a firearm, according to police.

After investigating, police arrested Darryl J. Schepers, 56, 4290 S. 50E, Huntingburg.

Authorities booked Schepers into the Dubois County Security Center at 4:15 p.m. on a preliminary Level 6 felony count of intimidation.
