Alarm sends firefighters to wastewater complex

HUNTINGBURG — The Huntingburg Volunteer Fire Department responded to an alarm activation Saturday afternoon at the Huntingburg Municipal Wastewater Complex, 1106 E. Second St.

There was no fire associated with the 4:19 p.m. alarm, according to Assistant Chief Glen Kissling. Firefighters suspected a faulty detector after finding no problems.

Two trucks and 12 firefighters were on the scene 15 minutes.
