BRETZVILLE — No injury was reported after a car-versus-deer collision Monday morning north of the Bretzville Junction.
Gregory E. Paulin, Ferdinand, was northbound on State Road 162 in a 2009 Toyota Yaris when the 5:45 a.m. accident occurred near Countrywood Estates, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said air bags deployed when the driver-side front of the Paulin Toyota struck a deer that came onto the highway.
The collision killed the deer.
Damage was estimated at $5,000.
