Ackerman, Knies All-SIAC

The Southern Indiana Athletic Conference has announced its All-SIAC girls golf team for 2020, and a couple of local names have made the grade.
Jasper juniors Elizabeth Ackerman and Halle Knies both made Second Team honors on the list. The announcement comes a day after Ackerman shot a new personal best of 38 Wednesday against Castle, while Knies had a 41.
Ackerman, Knies and the rest of the Wildcats are slated to be in action 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Buffalo Trace Golf Course, as Jasper tries to win a sectional championship.
