Accidental alarm sounds at elementary school
October 4, 2019FERDINAND — A general fire alarm’s activation Thursday morning sent members of the Ferdinand Volunteer Fire Department to Ferdinand Elementary, 402 E. Eighth St.
Fire Chief John Hoppenjans said firefighters answering the 9:34 a.m. callout discovered there had been an accidental alarm pull.
The firefighters and maintenance personnel successfully reset the system.
Three trucks and seven firefighters were on the scene 15 minutes.
The Ferdinand Police Department assisted.
