Accident results in drug-related arrest

HUNTINGBURG — An early morning accident today south of Huntingburg resulted in a drug-related arrest.
The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office was notified at 3 a.m. about an accident in the 8200 block of U.S. 231, in the vicinity of the Huntingburg Airport.
A deputy made contact with Amber N. Mize, 26, Indianapolis, who was allegedly found to be in possession of a syringe and methamphetamine.
Authorities booked Mize into the Dubois County Security Center at 4:43 a.m. on preliminary Level 6 felony counts of possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a syringe.
