Accident leaves driver with pending OWI charges

JASPER — A Monday accident in Jasper left a driver with injuries and pending OWI charges.
Yordany Salvador, 33, Jasper, was traveling south on Mill Street and ran off the road just south of 25th and Mill street and struck a utility pole. When the Jasper Police Department arrived, Salvador was slumped over in the car and was then transported to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center for injuries.
Salvador has charges pending for OWI with a BAC over .15, OWI endangerment and driving without a license.
